The Callaway County Health Department has two (2) new positive COVID-19 cases to report at this time. There are currently 22 cases, with 16 recovered, five active and one death.
Unfortunately, Callaway County has added two additional positive cases today. This shows that this virus is still among us and can be transmitted at any time. Please think of this as we begin to reopen businesses on Monday, May 4. Social distancing will be key to keeping us all safe. CCHD is working across the county to provide assistance to those who are re-opening. We are not in any way done with COVID019. Continue to social distance, wash your hands, at home unless it is necessary to obtain food and essential items.
If we start seeing an increase in the number of positive COVID-19 cases, we will not be able to advance to the next phase of reopening as soon as we would all like. We can do this!!!!
