May 7, 2020 Callaway County COVID-19 Update

The Callaway County Health Department has no new positive COVID-19 cases to report at this time. There are currently 22 cases, with 18 recovered, three active and one death.
As we are going out more and more and coming into contact with others, we need to remember that social distancing is key to staying safe. We are working with many of the businesses throughout the county to give them guidance on how to safely serve the citizens of Callaway County. We appreciate those folks who really want to keep their customers safe. Please do your part. Keep six feet between yourself and others at check outs and throughout stores. Do not congregate and talk in numbers of more than ten. We are not completely out of the woods on this yet folks. It will be up to you on how you continue to respond. Respond wisely. Wash your hands, social distance, shop when necessary, if you are sick stay home and call your healthcare provider by phone or internet to discuss your illness.
If you have a business and have questions on reopening and distancing, please call the Callaway County Health Department. We will come to your site or answer any questions we can over the phone.
PLEASE STAY SAFE
