The Callaway County Health Department has no new positive COVID-19 cases to report at this time. There are currently 22 cases, with 18 recovered, three active and one death.
With the weekend upon us, there are a lot of folks looking to get outside and travel. This is the normal thing for us to do. If you are going out to do business, go to a local restaurant or simply hit up a walking trail, take the time to be safe. With limitations in place, some businesses will have to limit the number of customers they can serve at one time.
Please help them to do that by waiting to enter if there are folks standing outside in a line to enter or if the stores seem crowded. We are all going to have to control ourselves from the urge to do things like we did just a couple of months ago. Please use constraint or simply go to another place of business to get what you may need. We need each other and we need our businesses, but we all need to be safe. Take your time, keep your distances. Thank you for doing all you do. We will get past this.
If you have a business and have questions on reopening and distancing, please call the Callaway County Health Department. We will come to your site or answer any questions we can over the phone.
PLEASE STAY SAFE
