May 15, 2020 Callaway County COVID-19 Update

The Callaway County Health Department has no new positive COVID-19 cases to report at this time. There are currently 22 cases, with 20 recovered, one active and one death.
The Callaway County Health Department will reopen on Monday May 18, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. Visitors will be required to wear masks and temperatures will be taken before entering the facility. Masks will not be provided. Hours of operation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. There will be a limit of three people in the lobby at one time. If possible, please call ahead if you need TB tests, birth or death certificates or sewer permits. You may contact us at 573-642-6881 or 573-642-5750.
We are continuing to see low numbers of positive COVID-19 cases throughout central Missouri. With travel and shopping becoming more prevalent due to the relaxed Stay at Home guidance, many people will be in contact with others. The Callaway County Health Department would strongly suggest social distancing during this time. The likelihood that positive cases could spike increases with increased social traffic. Keep up the good work you are doing. It has made a huge difference!
If you have a business or church and have questions on reopening and distancing, please call the Callaway County Health Department. We will come to your site or answer any questions we can over the phone.
PLEASE STAY SAFE
