May 23, 2020 Callaway County COVID-19 Update

The Callaway County Health Department has one new positive COVID 19 cases to report at this time. There are currently 23 cases, with 20 recovered, two active and one death.
Welcome to the Memorial Day weekend Callaway County. Many of us will be paying honor to those men and women who have given their lives to protect our country. We truly owe them a debt that can never be repaid. Many will be placing flowers on the graves of our family members and friends that have passed on. As we do these things and gather together, be sure to give encouragement to one another. We have gone through quite a bit in the last couple of months. This may be the first time that some have ventured out. Remembering those that have passed and talking about older times can help relieve some of the tension and anxiety that many people have today. Of course, be safe and still take precautions when around many people but at the same time, relax. We can get past this virus. We can know that we all have each other. Be safe and have a great weekend.
If you have a business or church and have questions on reopening and distancing, please call the Callaway County Health Department. We will come to your site or answer any questions we can over the phone.
PLEASE STAY SAFE
