June 3, 2020 Callaway County COVID-19 Update

The Callaway County Health Department has no new positive COVID-19 cases to report at this time. There are currently 29 cases, with 20 recovered, eight active and one death.

As summer is upon us, we all look forward to barbeques, gatherings and simply spending time outside. Many parks will soon be reopening, as well as walking trails and pools. This is the time to plan a getaway and prepare for crowds in those locations. Social distancing will be key to keeping yourself and your family safe. We want everyone to be able to destress from the past few months and relax. Remember that if an area is crowded, delay going there. Explore options to get back to nature by taking walks, hiking and biking. Many Missouri conservation areas throughout our county can provide ample space for these activities. This will help citizens feel better and get back into shape. You can find information on these sites by visiting the Missouri Department of Conservation website. Have a safe and healthy late spring and early summer!!!

BE SMART, STAY SIX FEET APART

If you have a business or church and have questions on reopening and social distancing, please call the Callaway County Health Department. We will visit your site or answer any questions we can over the phone.

PLEASE STAY SAFE
