June 4, 2020 Callaway County COVID-19 Update

The Callaway County Health Department has no new positive COVID-19 cases to report at this time. There are currently 29 cases, with 20 recovered, eight active and one death.
Another day with no new positive COVID-19 cases in Callaway County. The State of Missouri as a whole is up 1 percent. In Audrain County, there are now at 108 cases. With the additional testing being done throughout our county, we certainly expected to see a rise in positive cases. However, this has not happened.
Employers throughout the county have approached COVID-19 testing in many different ways. While some smaller companies require limited testing, other larger companies require all employees be tested. These procedures are a welcome sight when it comes to overall community health. Many times, people are in closer contact with others when on the job. We thank our local business leaders for looking ahead to safe guard our county. We appreciate your efforts!!
