July 10, 2020 Callaway County COVID-19 Update

The Callaway County Health Department has one new positive COVID-19 case to report at this time. There are currently 61 total cases, with 42 recovered, 18 active and one death.

With the weekend upon us, please do all you can to stay away from large gatherings. We are seeing our positive COVID-19 numbers rise as many people congregate at family gatherings, marches and other events. We held this virus for a time. Let’s get back into thinking about each other. We are a great county with great people. Let’s show our neighbors how the job is done.

As gatherings continue throughout central Missouri and testing has expanded, we will continue to see a rise in positive COVID-19 numbers. Please social distance, wash your hands for 20 seconds and stay at home if you are sick. Take all precautions when you are out and about. Keep up the good work Callaway County.

BE SMART, STAY SIX FEET APART

If you have a business or church and have questions on reopening and distancing, please call the Callaway County Health Department. We will come to your site or answer any questions we can over the phone.

PLEASE STAY SAFE
