July 16, 2020 Callaway County COVID-19 Update

The Callaway County Health Department has five new positive COVID-19 case to report at this time. There are currently 76 total cases in the county, with 51 recovered, 24 active and one death. Two cases were moved to the recovered side today.
The last two days have been extremely busy at the Callaway County Health Department with the new cases coming as well as those being released. Our nurses are doing an amazing job with contact tracing of individuals throughout our area. Thank You girls!! If you have attempted to contact our office by phone and were not able to, it is because our phone lines were very busy with calls coming in and going out pertaining to COVID-19. Please be patient and try again as we are working to make sure that we serve Callaway County to the best of our ability throughout this time. Thank You
As gatherings continue throughout central Missouri and testing has expanded, we will continue to see a rise in Positive COVID-19 numbers. Please social distance, wash your hands for 20 seconds and stay at home if you are sick. Take all precautions when you are out and about. Keep up the good work Callaway County.
