INFORMATIONAL UPDATE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2020
The Callaway County Public Health Department is currently receiving a large number of positive COVID-19 cases. Additional personnel have been hired to assist with the large case load however, due to the increase in positive cases we are still behind on our contact tracing investigations.
Effective Monday, November 9th the Callaway County Health Department will be closing each Monday at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), and will also be closed all day on each Friday until further notice. We apologize for these temporary office hour limitations however, this will allow public health staff to process more contact tracing case investigations.
This means if you need a walk-in flu shot you must come in on Monday morning before noon, or on Wednesday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You may schedule a specific time on Wednesday if you need to come at a certain time to receive a flu shot. We will resume normal office hours as soon as possible.
